So the "Wicked Movie" rumors have been up in the air for years, right? I don't know if or when it will actually get made but it's never too late to start rallying

No. There's not even any real word on whether a movie of the musical is being made. Only a mini-series based on the book. Hopefully they'll make a movie of it one day.
Anyway as much as I absolutely love Darren, I don't really think he's a Fiyero. I could be wrong but I just can't picture him playing Fiyero.

I actually can kinda see him as Fiyero if they make the musical into a movieand if Lea played Elphaba, I think they'd be good together. They had nice chemistry in 'Blame It On The Alcohol'.

I don't know. He's kinda short. He's admitted as much himself which is why he wasn't successful his first go round auditioning for Glee.
Just an observation, but in many of the productions I've seen Fiyero has been portrayed by tall guys.

That would be AMAZING.
He has the talent and the charisma to carry that role.
Although, I would love it if the movie (if/when it gets made) retained the original broadway cast. Idina Menzel and Kristen Chenoweth, etc. (Sorry if I misspelled the names, I'm too lazy to go look up the spelling.)

Great casting choice but I fear this movie will never get made!!! My gosh it's been a huge hit for over a decade and it still hasn't made it to the silver screen.
