as a child i always imagined david as a very, very pretty boy ( (headscratch)is that the reason for "david" being my alltime favorite boys name? just an idea.) - and darren chriss is a pretty boy (or better: handsome young man?) in my eyes, indeed.
i think, he would be a good "david" in film - he got the look and he actes well, too.

then its no wonder that i saw him as a pretty boy
. i didnt read in/heard something from the bible since nearly 50 years (expect watching "joseph" because of paul mercurio) and looong forgot details (and probably several "important" things).
but however: david must have looked like darren chris does

Yep! I just looked it up again, and 1 Samuel 16:12 actually says, "So he sent and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and a handsome appearance. And the LORD said, 'Arise, anoint him; for this is he.'"

i just found out that theres a new "david"- film in work . but if darren chriss was even thougt for audition, i think that weve had heard about that.
