So she doesn't even understand her own show….

I just saw her interview with Conan, and holy damn was it painful. She does't even understand the plots she's acting in
All she had to say was "Aliens attacked us in our dreams, but we didn't know we were dreaming, so our brains conjured Santa Claus to subtlely let us know that what we were going through was just a dream."
Instead she said "Don't try to apply logic to it."
It's like she didn't read one word of the script that wasn't one of her own lines. -

But let's be honest-"Don't try to apply logic to it" can be said about parts of just about every episode

Oddly enough, I really fine with that.
And how often does a dream actually make sense? Not applying logic in a dream is the only way I can explain George Will and Cindy Crawford sitting at my dining room table discussing public policy last night. -

There's most definitely logic to each episode. Coleman's saying this was basically pissing on the show.
For a plug interview, this was piss-poor, and I wouldn't blame any BBC brass for seeking a better spokesperson than Coleman. -

The episodes are entertaining but Doctor Who logic is different than actual logic. It can be hard to explain to non Who fans.

Saying most girls don't understand sci fi is like saying most girls don't understand math. Maybe it's better said most girls don't understand a show they don't watch or a comic book they don't read. Or that science fiction fans are predominantly male (although more of us females are getting into it). I seriously doubt having male genetalia makes you more likely to understand science fiction if everything else is equal (equal exposure to the characters, story lines, etc).

lol well yeah, you didn't know? Penises are tiny magic wands that make you more receptive to fantasy and sci-fi.
