Least likeable character on 'Everybody Hates Chris'?

I think the show totally gave Imani the shaft by making her character so unlikeable. I don't understand why the writers made Tanya so unreasonable and whiny. I understand that this show is supposed to be about Chris, but couldn't they at least give Tanya some redeeming qualities? I can't find one thing to like about the character Tanya, an7ecd I've seen every single episode.
This is not a knock on Imani, I think she will turn out to be a very talented actress.

it's told from the point-of-view of her older brother. it makes sense that she would be whiny.
