There were a few losses suffered by Spain at the hands of the yellow toothed bandits, but in all Spain remained the great power in the New World and for a long time in Europe. We see this in the fact that most of South America, the Caribbean, and North America was colonized by the Spanish. England was relegated to the 13 original colonies, Oregon, and part of Canada. Spain took all of South America except Brazil, what remained of North America outside of the French areas and all of the Caribbean only losing Jamaica and Cuba for 7 years until its reconquest. Puerto Rico was OFTEN attacked but to no avail as it was a VERY important strategic point in the New World. Cuba AND Puerto Rico were the two big prizes in the Caribbean and the English coveted them greatly.

Are you saying fraud is a lesser crime than selling drugs? Eh, IDK about that dude. People who sell drugs (and this isn't including the stuff that comes along with a black market; if Barby Dolls where illegal we'd have Mexican Cartels killing each other over the resources required to make Barby Dolls as well as the Barby Dolls themselves. A demand will always be supplied, period.) Fraud is straight up stealing another persons hard earned money. Fraud and white-collar crime in general is, IMO, more despicable than the act of selling drugs. People who get sold drugs are asking for the drugs, people who get ripped off personally or who get indirectly ripped off via subsidies and wasteful tax spending ect ect have no choice but to bend over and take it, 'ass blasted', if you will.
I seriously question your logic, judgement, and reasoning if you think selling drugs is a worse crime than fraud. -

Some of the racism and ignorance on this thread is beyond - or should I say below - stupidity. Are people really so lacking in brains and imagination that they can't disagree with someone of a different race without throwing racial slurs around?
As far as Felicia Pearsons record goes the person she killed tried to attack her with a baseball bat. She claims she had no choice and it was self-defense. I have no idea if that is true or not because I wasn't there but I think that killing someone who has just tried to attack you with a bat doesn't necessarily put you in the same category as a cold-blooded murderer. Also there is no self-defense law in Baltimore where she is from so she would have been convicted of murder even if it was self-defense. People who know her have said that she is very different from her character on The Wire so I don't think she is just playing herself.
