Years ago, she was actually offered a spot as a SNL cast member, but turned it down because she didn't want to move to the east coast.

From what I understand, it was a matter of family being more important than moving to the opposite side of the country. Whether she regrets it or not 238who knows. She just wrote a hit movie with Kristin Wiig.
