To each his own but seriously Kristin you should be ashamed of yourself for fearing Autism like its a plague. Its very offensive to parents of autistic children. Rather consult your publicist on how to express your opinions. Something like we dont think vaccines are safe or we just dont believe in them. Those who should worry are those children who will sit next to your son who is not vaccinated and brings back eradicted diseases like the mumps.
Whats that? Noone dies from the mumps? No but it renders males sterile so if you have no problems denying your son life beyond his own someday then feel free. But the mumps are back and so is polio.
Dont blame autism for your fears educate yourself on how much mercury is in vaccines? Do studies really support the theory?
As a mother of four children 2 girls 2 boys, one is autistic. He is the sweetest one of all if them he is smart and loving, and I worry about my daughter having to care for him when I am dead and gone. I dont care how he developed autism I dont care having a source wouldnt change a thing. I would rsther have a full grown autistic son than a child dead from polio or sterile for life not of his own choice.
You are in the public eye you have a responsibility to be aware of what you say. All you did was hurt thousand of mothers who are devastated by autism how dare you speak of soething you know nothing about. At least Jenny McCarthy has an autistic child. You might want to consider how many people your word have affected. -

I don't agree with her views on vaccination, but you act as if people pray for autistic children, and that not wanting an autistic child is wrong.
And if anyone that would take the word of a realty star as a basis for their parenting decisions, their children have bigger problems than the potential for autism OR MMR, etc -

People should pray for healthy, happy children . . . who might sometimes also be autistic.
Having autism doesn't mean you are not capable of having full and happy lives. Work, relationships, travels and many cherished moments.
What came first, the music or the misery? -

I never said it was wrong her to not want her kids to be autistic I wouldn't wish it for any mother . And yes my child will have a full healthy happy life. As a mother you wrry for children everyday. My intention was to educate Kristin that one should simply be knowledgable about issues before speaking on them. Otherwise like you know you sound like you know.a blonde.

Sounds like you were saying exactly that. It's not as if she has an above average fear of having an autistic child just because her view of what causes it is different than ours.
My intention was to educate Kristin that one should simply be knowledgable about issues before speaking on them.
I agree with you there. I just don't think it's fair to say she's acting as if Autism is equivalent to the plague. I never got that impression.
Otherwise like you know you sound like you know.a blonde.
Wow. Okay. That's not misinformed or anything. -

Im not the one making statements to the public about things they no nothing about she didnt make it sound like the plague she actually just sounded terrified. Of course people tend to fear that which they do not know.

Maybe you should educate your about autism. I have 4 on the spectrum. The younger 2 are more severe. Will always need 24/7 care. The youngest is totally nonverbal. He is 23. He is also self injurious. The TdaP caused him to have 20+ grand mal seizures a week. Something only the GAPS diet has been able to help him recover from. He has a history of aggression as well. All 4 of mine have struggles beyond the imagination. Most vaccines are for illnesses that aren't deadly, or even contagious for that matter. You can't catch tetanus from anyone and its easily treatable. Build your immunity the natural way. Overloading the body with neurotoxins, formaldehyde, aborted fetal cells, & heavy metals will either kill you or disable you.

Here is reality my child has autism he was vaccinated and so were my other kids and yes I do pray for him everyday. I pray he becomes a functioning contributing member of society, I pray he lives a long hapy life and I pray that people dont maje fun of him because the truth is he is brillant, he just wants nothing to do with you

Autism is NOT genetic. Not the autism we are seeing today. Fragile X that looks like autism is. You can do lab tests to check that. Rhett's, celiac, prader willi, those are genetic. All of those simple lab tests will reveal. They account for less than 2% of the autism being diagnosed today. I have 4 vaccinated autistic children, born right around the time the vaccine schedule was doubled for childhood vaccines. We've had the genetic testing. It's not genetic. My 4 ARE heavy metal toxic. Then..I also have 2 younger, NEVER vaccinated COMPLETELY NORMAL children. Don't believe the lie

I know a woman (acquaintances, really) that has been on an adoption list for almost 15 years. She believes similar to what Kristin does and has non-anonymously published her thoughts on the Internet and is not shy about them in person. And she wonders why she's not getting a baby
Hopefully this backlash will give Kristin some sort of an education or at least plant doubts if she still sticks to her stance.

Hence the reason "experts" was in quotation marks. I'm not the enemy here because as I've said 4 times now I don't agree with Kristin's/Jennie's views. In fact I've been cursing Jennie out for years now. I just happen to think that Kristin is just a much of a victim of this nonsense as the children/families that actually were vaccinated. Apparently she just hasn't read the right material, and therefore your OP was much too harsh, IMO.
Furthermore, I don't think Kristin ever once tried to sway anybody else to not vaccinate their children like Jenny does. Her saying what she chose for her own family isn't the same as preaching about the issue to everybody. -

Nonsense? When my eldest was born autism was 1 in 20,000. Today it's 1 in 50. And that's just looking at autism. Autism is not the only thing vaccines cause. Allergies, auto immune diseases, asthma, diabetes, chron's, and cancer have all been linked to vaccines. We have more childhood diseases in this day than ever before in history. Autism is not genetic. Autism is an epidemic. There is no such thing as a genetic epidemic.

You are clearly as uninformed as Kristin is. Polio has had a cure for over 50 years,

She is doing the right thing. I'm a mom to 6 beautiful children. 4 vaccinated autistic children and 2 never vaccined completely normal and healthy children. We've been through all the doctors, genetic testing. The first 4 were born "normal". The testing also revealed heavy metal toxicity. Heavy metals from vaccines. There has NEVER been an INDEPENDENT study that PROVES vaccines are safe and effective. You don't boost your immune system by injecting toxins, heavy metals, and aborted fetal cells into a new baby with an under developed immune system. Our family eats organic, cultured and fermented foods, and my children and I are rarely sick. There is no such thing as a vaccine induced immunity. Keep going Kristin. You are doing the best thing for your children.

I would love to be friends with you laurel you sound awesome!!!
My children have been tested for fragile x amongst many other "genetic" causes or links to Autism and have tested negative. So then I said to the geneticist what has caused my childrens Autism then? they still cannot answer that question and its been 14 years!!
I have photos, and videos my of my eldest child progressing as fast as other children his age, walking, talking, laughing, posing for the camera and one day that all vanished as if some horrible horrible black magic wand waved over him and took it all away.
He will need care for the rest of his life. He is 6ft 5 and is a MAN , he is non verbal, the REAL non verbal, that is he cannot say a single word. That means when he is in pain or sometimes AGONY he cannot tell anyone - do you have any idea what that alone would be like for him ? or for me to watch my child suffer like this?
Oh he is still not toilet trained, so how would you like that one hey? to wipe the back side of a 6ft 5 man every day ? and to shower him too?
Sound FUN to you?
You know what time has done to me though? time has made me hard and a bit cold. not towards my kids but towards uneducated, sheeple kind of people who are so arrogant they think they know all in life, and have seen it all - LOL you have no friggen idea!!!!
I NO longer bother trying to convince people and HELP them by telling them my full story , by trying to tell them to be careful and tell them they can actually prevent it because I NO LONGER CARE for those kind of people!!!!!!!!
I couldn't care less anymore if you vaccinate or not, in fact GO FOR IT< get them all - every single vaccine available .
but do NOT tell MY STORY for me!!!!!!!!!!!! because YOU have NO idea!!!!!!!!
