doing Fall cleanup. During the week, there is a noise ordinance that prohibits loud, disturbing noise (blah blah blah) from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
I am grateful they didn't start until 7:00 AM on the dot because I didn't want pissed off neighbors. These guys also do my next door neighbor's yard.
Oh, and my next door neighbor who has more money to live three lifetimes hasn't paid the lawn service guys in 4 months. He did this before during the Summer - again 4 months. I don't get it. I used to wonder why he went through so many service people (lawn service, plowing service, tree service, sprinkler service). He probably uses them, pays them a few months, then stops, and figures he saves money. What a cheap ****.
Anyway . . . yeah. -

The neighbor is a lawyer, so you can be sure he knows he's just on this side of the law. However, he needs to pay up. When I first found out about it, it clouded the entire way I felt about him. His wife is lovely, and they have three kids. They are nice, too. I just don't get that mentality.

Finished my yardwork the first week of November. Used the leaf blower about a week and a half ago now that every leaf has fallen off. At 6:50 am I noticed it's starting to get brighter in the morning now.
Tell you what…When I send my ex-wife her money…you can lick the stamps. -

When I get up at 6:30 AM, I like looking out the window in the living room to the east and watching how the sky is starting to lighten up, then all the different colors as the day dawns. I like having an east-facing front. We also can watch the sunsets in the back yard.
Fall was late this year. There are still some oak trees which are hanging on to their leaves. Thankfully, none of them are ours or near our home.
