Jennifer's tribute to Whitney Houston was perfect all the way around. She is such an awesome and powerful singer but she restrained that voice out of respect to Whitney and it was still Fabulous. Every single critic and celebrity have given nothing but high praises to Jennifer and it boggles my mind that some people still feel the need to hate. No matter, nothing will take away from true talent.

I really liked the Dolly parton tribute she did at the Grammy's. Jennifer wanted to do a tribute to Whitney so she sang a song writen by Dolly for Dolly. No matter how many people sing "I will always love you" It will always be a song written by Dolly for Dolly and originaly recorded by Dolly

Oh please. Whitney took that song and made it her own. She took it to heights Dolly was never able to and Dolly along with everyone else knows that. The world knows it as Whitney Houston song. Again Jennifer's tribute to the late great WHITNEY HOUSTON was spectacular.

Are you deaf and stupid? That was a terrible tribute to Whitney. I absolutely hated it. She should have sang it the way Whitney sang it. That was totally disrespectful and a slap to Whitney's face. DISRESPECTFUL!

Amber Riley's rendition is 1000 times better:

Dolly Parton made loads of money off of Whitney's recording of the song and she's greatful for it. Why make it seem as if though somebody's trying to take something from Dolly. That's not true. Whitney's always given due respect to Dolly for the song and she loves what Whitney did with it. Dolly even admits that song is Whitney's.
As for Jennifer's performance, I thought her performance was superb as well. She pulled back just enough to kind've highlight the song, not do a whole big belting out of it with those big notes Jennifer usually does. To me it came across as very much respectful. I took from that the performance wasn't about Jennifer it was about showing love for Whitney with a song that her audience loved.
I loved the tribute, but I think we'll see many more because everybody loved Whitney and that's a good thing. -

Dol1c84ly wrote it and performed it first, of courseand hers was great. Whitney's rendition was SPECTACULAR, and Dolly knew it. She was grateful to Whitney. Whitney loved Dolly for writing such a beautiful songit was a well-intentioned, wonderful mutual admiration society between them. They're both aces in their crafts.
And then there's Jennifer Hudson. She is TALENTLESS. Her singing SUCKS. She SCREAMS every song. She RUINS every song. Simon Cowell was right in not selecting her for American Idol. She should have never made it big. And, she CERTAINLY should have never won that ridiculous Oscar.
Hudson is an awful signer. It makes me sick to see her parade around as if she had talent. She's more famous now for her stupid weight loss (and she's still very large) than for her voice.
