Who Would You Consider Her "Contemporaries"?

I know the forum is ending but we might as well have some discussion while it lasts. I may repost this to wherever our new location is if things die down here and this thread doesn't catch on.
So anyway, who are actresses in the same age range who seem to play a similar "type" to her who probably directly compete with her for roles.
From looking at past roles she's been rumored for, she seems to be considered for a lot of the same parts as Emma Watson, Alicia Vikander, Daisy Ridley, Kate Mara, Shailene Woodley, Jennifer Lawrence, Elizabeth Olsen, and Cara Delevingne (for some reason). Not all of those people would necessarily fall into the same bracket as her, though. -

That's a good list with a few in an elite category while the others not so much. I almost feel like she is looking at doing her own thing with independent/foreign production companies while acknowledging that she has competed for roles against the others at least occasionally.

Its so hard to believe she is not 25 yet, because she seems to be in a different state of her career than the peers of her age like: Dakota Fanning, Elle Fanning( who is making amazing career choices), Annasophia Robbie, Hailee Stainfeld, Shailene Woodley, Abigail Breslin and so on.
She is more respected and takes more adult roles than these, so I usually put her with Carey Mulligan, Mia Wasikowska, Alicia Vikander, Rooney Mara, especially with the amount of period movies she is doing now. -

This is true you know. In an interview with ''Deadline Hollywood'', the the producer of ''On Chesil Beach'' mentioned that Ronan is considered (by Hollywood) ''one of the top 5 best actresses'' in the world.
It would explain why she's often considered for big roles, like ''Suicide Squad'', ''Tomb Raider'', ''The Hunger Games'', ''X-Men Apocalypse'' ''Fantastic Four'', to name but a few. I do believe in-time she'll branch into these roles. -

I've thought for some time that there's no one quite like her (considering her age) in film today.
Off topic, but have you had a chance to check out any of the options we've posted about as a result of the closing of these boards on 20 February? -

Was she considered for Hunger Games? It seems like she would have been too young at the time.
In hindsight (even though I was indifferent to it when it was actually being rumored) her doing Tomb Raider would have been fun, regardless of the quality of the movie, with her getting fit and getting to utilize those fighting skills from Hanna again. -

Oh yeah, the author wanted Ronan as 'Katniss'. She was only 16 at the time, Lawrence was a few years older.
Ronan (along with others) was the front runner to play Croft before Vikander was approached. I'm kind of glad they cast Vikander instead; she's a better fit and I personally don't think the movie will be a hit.
