I think Ann is the real talented one from the duo, her voice is aleays there, and her perfromances are always passionate, but Nancy that's another story, i mean, i saw "The Road Home" dvd and i felt sorry to hear Nancy destroy some serious Heart classics, specially "These Dreams", she can't sing live, and her guitar playing is sloppy, below average, it's a shame, she should focus on hitting the right notes, instead of looking "cool".

Which is why Ann is the lead vocalist. I have heard Nancy sing years ago & she sounds very much like her sister, but maybe she just doesn't groove singing live. I go see them tomorrow night in concert & CAN'T WAIT! I bought my tickets this morning o/l. A nice fringe benefit of living in Las Vegas:-) Small show-rooms/arenas and it's hard to get bad seats. Ann definitely takes the cake as far as talent goes & could very well make it alone w/o Nancy, but "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" as they say & always a good rule of thumb.
LONG LIVE ROCK & ROLL!! HEART ROCKS!!!

I live in Las Vegas and did not know they were on tour until I was looking for shows online. LOL Us locals are often the last to know and if they do advertise, I miss them due to fast forwarding the TiVo. HEART was here the 1st & 2nd of September at the L.V. Hilton & they still rock like they did back in the 70's! It's called their "Love Rules" tour. Best thing about living here is the shows. It's hard to get bad seats due to the small size of concert venuesNot like the ones back home in Southern California that hold thousands of people. If you're ever in town, always know that getting more expensive tickets usually doesn't matter muchnot with concerts anyway. I'm watching VH1 and as I type the #4 song is BARRACUDA! WOOHOO! This special is 1st aired today and 2 hours long and Ann Wilson is hosting. I just tuned in to hopefully hear some of their songs as the title of the show is, "Women Who Rock". Ann looks exactly as she did last Sunday. Back in the day they were both drop dead hotties, but Ann got heavy & Nancy is still the same size, making her sister look all the bigger, but Ann is still GORGEOUS. Personally, I've always liked Ann best as she has a voice like no other! For ages 57 & 53 they sure haven't lost their spunk!!! EXCELLENT SHOW! If they come to your town, try & see it, you'll be so glad! I am shocked that this will be Ann's 1st solo being released this month & Nancy already has beaten her there. I read somewhere on this forum or the heart homepage that Nancy doesn't do well singing live & I couldn't agree more, but she sure jams that guitar! They both do for that matter & the flute as well. Nancy sticks to that guitar & lets Ann do the lead vocals & it's perfection at it's best:-)
HAVE A GR8 DAY @ ROCK ON HEART!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!!!&:-) -

Umm are you living in a cave? Have you not heard her version of Elton's Mona Lisa's and Mad Hatter's"? She sounds like god kicked her out her heaven for being too beautiful! And how can destroy her own song? I listened to "These Dreams" live played acoustic, I cried it was so beautiful. Listen to her solo album. She sounds perfect.

There's no need for your rudeness, just get yourself a copy of "The Road Home" DVD, Nancy did an awful vocal job in that particular show, and i've seen other equally weak performances of hers, Ann's the voice.

I think these guys must be deaf, Nancy is an incredible live singer. Brilliant phrasing, she's like a female version of Steve Morse, Daryl Hall or Todd Rundgren that's how interesting and varied she is vocally. Good singers know how to curl a tune differently live and take the song somewhere new. She has to be inventive too of course, because her song material available is very limited compared to the vast back catalog of Heart songs that Ann fronts. Wish Nancy would get more album songs or a solo album.
