But what about a stab to the leg so they can't run off?

I'd tie them up and force them to watch vampire diaries with me.

It's illegal to kill an intruder
Not in Ohio it ain't
Ohio's “Castle Doctrine,” passed in 2008, removed that duty to retreat for people in a lawfully occupied residence or in their vehicle. Under the new law, there is no longer a duty to retreat as long as someone is in a place where they are legally allowed to be.Apr 5, 2021

If someone breaks into your property you should be allowed to kill them.
I subscribe to the Duncan Ferguson approach where two ***** were stupid enough to break into his home and they ended up in hospital

Luckily, we are "stand your ground," and we can carry concealed in public. If we are anywhere we're legally allowed to be, public or private land, and our life is in danger, we are legally allowed to defend ourselves. Better than Castle Doctrine.

Sadly, it looks like the country is slowly turning that way, and it's only getting worse. When I first started reading about cases where a burglar had a "right" to sue the people whose house they broke into and burgled, I was flabbergasted. I can't wrap my head around our country giving more rights and protection to the criminals who break into our house, steal, and attack us, than they do to protect the innocent. It's messed up.

This guy I used to work with is from there. He moved back and continued working for Walgreens
There wasn't a lot of criminals there ripping off the store like there is here. Made me glad that there are still some decent places to live/work
