TEENA IS DEFINITELY UNDERRATED WHEN IT COMES TO THE POP CHARTS & EVEN SOMETIMES WITH THE R&B CHARTS. THE LA DONA CD WAS SUPPOSE TO PUT HER WHERE SHE WAS WITH THE "LOVERGIRL" SINGLE. ALTHOUGH HER CD MADE IT TO THE TOP 10 0N THE POP CHARTS, IT DIDNT GO GOLD LIKE IT SHOULDVE UNLESS IT WENT GOLD AFTER IT FELL OUT THE TOP 10. I WAS EXPECTING TEENA TO BE NOMINATED OR EVEN HONORED AT THE SOUL TRAIN AWARDS THIS YEAR IF NO OTHER AWARD SHOULD & "STILL" ITS AS IF SHE DIDNT EXIST. WHAT WOULD'VE HELPED TEENA WITH THE LA DONA CD IS HER SHOWING UP ON VH1 SOUL, TONIGHT SHOW, DAVID LETTERMAN, JIMMY KIMMELL BUT SHE CHOOSES NOT TO MAKE THOSE ROUNDS FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON. ANOTHER THING I THINK MESSED UP HER RISING CROSSOVER CAREER BACK IN THE 80'S IS WHEN THEY GAVE HER THAT HORRIBLE SONG ON THE TOP GUN SOUNDTRACK "LEAD ME ON". THE BIGGEST SOUNDTRACK THAT YEAR & THE WORLD HAD TO HEAR TEENA ON THAT AWFUL SONG. IT WOULDVE BEEN BETTER IF TEENA DID THE PRODUCING HERSELF. I HAVE HER ON DVD & IT SHOWED ME THAT YOU CANT LOVE TEENA ONCE YOU GET EXPOSED TO HER THE RIGHT WAY. I LOVE HER VIDEO "HERES LOOKING AT YOU" & HER PIANO PERFORMANCE OF "IF I WERE A BELL" WAS CUTE.

i have 2 videos of Teena.. one of the whole hour and a half Philly 2004 concert i got off ebay.. great stuff "Now That I Have You" is a good highlight of the show and also i have A fan made dvd i also won from ebay that has "Work It","Lovergirl", "If I Were A Bell" live with donnie simpson, "Cassanova Brown" live with donnie simpson, "Do Right Man" BET performance, "Square Biz" and "My Body's Hungry" from a The Parkers episode ,and " A Rose By Any Other Name".. and an Interview with Donnie Simpson on Video Soul
