          She did ALL the heavy lifting in that dreck of a film, and that alone is an outstanding acting achievement. Glad the actors could recognize it.

            Yes, she totally deserves the SAG nomination for her performance in that film. What is inexplicable is the reaction it's getting from a lot of critics. Her performance was clearly strong enough to warrant this nomination and yet articles are being written claiming it is a travesty of justice which is utterly ridiculous! What I find more ridiculous is the fact that she hasn't been included in the conversation when discussing other high profile awards.

              I was majorly surprised too, but I'm so happy for Emily - I have her in my no. 1 of Best Actress so far!

                  And as I predicted BATFA was the end of the line for her.
                  Blunt is a talented actress but Rosmund Pike probably barely got in for Gone Girl despite it having very good reviews. Blunt had no chance to get in for a critically panned film. The bright side is at the film is financially successful, she should be happy with that.
