He just always looks like he's holding back a dumbfounded smile, and just has a more soft vibe to him. Idk, something about his presence is more gregarious, and anything but intimidatingmaybe it's his small mouth and timid looking eyes. His role in GOTG was more appropriate for his appearance, but still a bit facepalm. I just think he needs some acting lessons, especially when it comes to putting off the right level of stern ambiance for his roles.

He already took extra acting lessons, when he took on the role in GOTG, Dave Batista has a dry sense of humor which is what Drax is from the comics, he's perfect and also scary and intimidating when he gets mad and i like how James Gunn gave him a personality because if he's exactly like the comic version his character would be boring, i like the way he is portrayed, in Spectre he smiles without even saying a word,and other times he's not, so what were you expecting from him? An Academy Award style of acting? I looked at two pictures from the links you posted, what is your point with the first picture when he attended the Spectre premiere? Maybe it's just you thinking about it and that's your problem
