Hi Emily Barclay fans,
I wanted to let all of you know I have met and am good friends with Emily Barclay. I met her at the start of the 48th Annual Film Festival in Melbourne after seeing her film 'Suburban Mayhem'. She was totally awesome in the film and very nice and patient when I met her and had a picture. That was back in August 2006. I then met her again at the Industry Awards on Wednesday 6th December, where she announced an award or two for 'Macbeth'. I saw her again on the 7th December when she won an AFI (Australian Film Institute) Award for Best Actress. She totally deserved it and I couldn't think of a better winner.
I also loved her 'In My Faher's Den', and 'The Silence'. With many more films sure to come her way. I have her number now but will never give it out to anyone ever. Just happy to hear from other fans of her.

I met her and got her signature too does this mean that I am her close friend too???

I'm glad you got to meet her and get an autograph as well. Yes I am sure she'd consider you a good friend of hers as well, like me. We should keep in touch. You've seen a lot or comment on a lot of the AFI films on selection in 2006. EG. Kenny. Well done!

Hey,
I actually used to work with em in akld, she's a really cool person, and was lots of fun to work with, and yeah a great actress. Unfortunately it looks like shes been bumped from the Bronte movie which kinda sucks. Hopefully she'll get some other great projects in the future though.
