I heard she was cast as Ilse in the Spring Awakening tour.can anyone confirm this?

I can't confirm, but it would explain why she hasn't been on B&B lately. She was on a few episodes this week, but her character is once again going on hiatus because she's "going on a tour with Constantine." So maybe MacKenzie was cast in the Spring Awakening tour and that's why she's going away.

She was offered it, but apparently turned it down. Because from what I've heard, someone else is playing Ilse. But I do know that she was offered it and wasn't sure if she was going to take it or not because of B&B. Yet, inexplicably, she left B&B and still turned down the tour.
