Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Rob Zombie

Always throws in a bunch of nudity, sex, rape, in all his movies? Is it really necessary? I mean is he that insecure that he resorts to nudity? A good ol' horror movie doesn't need to have this type of crap in it. Enough is enough!
James Wan is a perfect example. He created such masterpieces like, The Conjuring, Insidious Chapter 1 & 2, Saw. Not once did he use nudity, sex, or anything like that. James Wan should teach this freak a thing or two on how to direct proper horror films.

Before Criticizing Zombie One Should Criticize Actresses Like Julianne Moore And Kate Winslet Who Frequently Drop Their Clothes To Go FULLY NUDE In Films.

Insidious is like Pirates of the Caribbean. Horrible series, great movie.

Really? Masterpieces? Funniest thing I've ever read! The guy is nothing but I hack director! I hate everything about him and his crap "horror" films. If you want masterpieces go check out Carpenter, Bava, Lynch or to an extent Argento

Your use of the word 'classic' to describe James Wan's fan is questionable. Different styles, man. Not all horror movies need to be alike.

because he enjoys that style. believing characters are suppose to be foul rude types. I can agree at times it does seem out of place that every character is vile. a friend of mine hated what Rob turned dr. Loomis into a guy who was concerned about money\fame
Rob Zombie is one of the greatest directors today

The conjuring was good but the rest of his movies have been mostly awful.
