That's an odd concept that Rob said he'd go with!!
The only other idea I could think of that Rob might use for his Blob monster is a massive white trash, morbidly obese cannibal, who can't stop eating people.

So maybe it would've still been a blob, it just wouldn't have looked the same at all? I suppose we'll probably never know what he was planning to go for.
