I have a thick Mancunian accent. I usually have to repeat myself to southerners over the phone.

Everyone that speaks has an accent. We just don't hear ours like others do. Are you far from Romford? I have a friend from there.

I'm from Louisiana, but I have none of the regional accents. Just a standard American accent you hear in movies.
Every now and then, a little of my mom's or dad's accents pop out, especially my mom's when I'm in New Orleans and talking about street (or really any place) names. Like, "We gotta turn down Rampawt (Rampart)."
