which actor do you think could play Zappa in a movie??

You know, I actually think that Johnny Depp probably could. He could easily do the voice change, and under a bushy mustasche, he might just pull it off. But I still think it would be a better idea for someone with a bigger physical resemblance to be discovered before this kind of movie would be attempted.
I personally think that a film about the life of Frank Zappa would be an excellent movie, but it would probably be hard to do well. There have been other movies about rock stars, but the ones they do are usually counter culture/hippy icons that have a hugely hyperbolized legacy (See: The Doors). And a Frank Zappa movie would have to be much more upbeat and quirky with a lot less sensationalism. But he's still a truely unique figure in the history of rock, and I think a movie about him made sometime in the future is essential. -

I disagree. Ahmet would play a better Frank, although Dweezil would have to do the licks. Ahmet actually looks more like his dad than Dweezil, and easp. early on when FZ was younger, has more of his dad's personality.
