Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Terry Wogan

    Mickey77 — 17 years ago(May 26, 2008 03:21 AM)

I think 2008 will be his last year.
His longtime producer is retiring and I dont think at 70 Terry fancies working with a new face.
I also believe that he feels that the United Kingdom are better off out of Eurovison.

Its about time he quit. I'm getting sick of Eurovison now, its been on long enough. United Kingdom always seem to be bottom.

I am writing this in 2016, last year I did not watch Eurovison for the first time in a long while for an number of reasons. The main one being the scoring section that goes on far too long and sees countries vote for their neighbours in the hope they don't invade them. I will not watch Eurovison again until there are some radical changes but that does not seem very likely.
