he's in the entire season, not just six episodes:

Make of that what you will. Though from what I've seen so far, it would be bad writing to get rid of him after only six episodes. He's being set up as a major player, already.
Personally, I can't stand '24' (it's done very cleverly with a great story frame, but it's a bunch of right-wing FOX propaganda tripe underneath it all), but I have to say that I am loving his character. This is the first time he's really had a chance to stretch in quite a while, even more so than on Holby City. Damn you, Peter Wingfield, for making me want to watch a show that I hate! [shakes fist in the general direction of LA, then goes to check the schedule to make sure she doesn't miss tonight's episode]

Someone needs to learn to differentiate between Fox (the broadcasting channel) and Fox News and FX. Believe it or not, Fox tends to be more liberal/left-wing in their broadcasting. The 'balance' being almost all of the programming on Fox News.
I'm well aware of what FOX puts on. But that doesn't make a show that glories in coming up with new and inventive ways to make the protagonist torturing people acceptable as a plot device or that has had some of the dumbest, most irritating female characters on television, especially in the first couple of seasons, any less right-wing propagandist tripe.
Someone needs to get over themselves. This isn't a board for '24'. It's a board for Peter Wingfield, and as I already said in my first post, I like his performance on '24' and hope it helps his career. But that doesn't mean I have to change my overall opinion of the show.

LOL
okay the only episodes I've seen are the most recent 'cause I don't trust fox to A) air anything worth watching B)when they find a show worth watching they are bound by idiocy to cancel it and C) pretty much everything I actually watch I download, my tv is for providing awesome looking background noise.
But I don't know that torture and debasing women are so much right wing propagandist tripe as they are tried and truth methods of getting butts in seats.
Duncan MacLeod: You're an ahole.
Methos: I never said I was deep.
