Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Stuart Wilson

One of the great things about Hot Fuzz were all the familiar faces, one of which belonged to the great Stuart Wilson. What did everyone think of his role in the film?
I thought it was absolutely great. First of all, hearing him with a West-country accent, and then seeing him in the film's climax suddenly pull a shotgun out of nowhere and join in the massive gunfight! Of course, he get's a painful-looking comeuppance as he does in all of his other villainous roles.

I loved Hot Fuzz and everybody in it. Stuart Wilson was excellent and I loved the fact that Danny shot him in the foot

I absolutely love him I hope I'm still that dashing when I reach his age. Just like Paul Freeman as Rev. Shooter, it took me the LONGEST friggin' time to realize WHO IT WAS, with that nagging "Where else have I seen him??" in my brain constantly. Belloq I actually figured out on my own (still took me forever), but there was no way I could have guessed that I was also looking at Don Rafael until I looked it up here. This man kicks ass.
