well not really anymore, i use to work at kmart in aliso viejo and he was a regular customer. In fact i had no idea who he was or that he was in sanford and son but the last time i saw him, one of my co-workers said that they lived in the same complex and that she was in sanford and son, all of a sudden all these people were like oh yeah he does look familiar. who he is in real life is not who he was in the show. he is very smart and intellectual. he wrote 2 books i believe and went to college. he is a very insightful man.

At the same Kmart there were other celebs that shopped there, lets see there was Warren G, some of the Korn members, the VP for HP, the girl who hold the world guiness records for the most tattoos, Kurt Angle and one of the guitarist for Santana. There were others but i cant remember now.

You don't live in L.A., eh? Celebrities shop for groceries, eat at restaurants (including fast food), work on home repairs, cook dinner, etc., just like everyone else. The higher level "stars" may have some servants, but even they can be found out and about quite often. The other celebrities are seen all the time in various shops. Demond Wilson did not end up being even a low level celebrity in later life, so he can be seen in very many ordinary spots.
