I'm old enough to remember her in "Life With Elizabeth" a sit-com from the early 1950s. Her extremely long career was almost entirely in television, having appeared in very few theatrical films.
Although she was never one of my favorites, I fail to understand the hateful comments posted here after her death. They are in the worst possible taste.
