Alaric, will crossover to TO in 4x08 to deliver Elijah an artifact. So, if he's only appearing in episode 8, I don't think he this means he'll stay or completely jump, but, TO is already past TVD timeline wise, guess this means Alaric survives this series.

Lol I wrote the same on the TO board. I guess he's safe bc of the twins. Although Stefan would make for a better father.
