All my respect for this man has gone soaring out the window

I grew up with Buffy. It's ingrained into my childhood. This man has created some of my most prominent childhood memories and it was always under the guise of feminist kickass women. And now I'm starting to see this side to him that contradicts everything I thought he stood for. The things he is saying just make me sick. It's heartbreaking that it's a trend among liberals to preach one thing, and then practice another when it best suits their narrative.
I can not believe so many liberals are acting antithetically to the values they preach.
Don't support Hillary you're a sexist > Don't support Sarah Palin you're progressive.
Criticize Christianity for being anti-gay > Protect Islam from criticism for being anti-gay.
Talk about peace love and tolerance > Smash windows, beat up Trump supporters and set cars on fire.
Be Meryl Streep chanting about female empowerment > Sign a petition pardoning Roman Polanski for his rape of a minor.
Pretend to care about children > mock Barron Trump.
Protest white on black crime > ignore black on white crime.
Respect women's choices > Attack them for choosing to be stay at home mothers.
It's just hypocrisy after hypocrisy after hypocrisy. Liberals have completely forgotten how to be liberal now. They act just as militantly as the far right fundamentalists during the Satanic Panic of which they were fervent opponents of. They've become their own worst enemy. I hate how illiberal liberals have become. And now this.
No wonder Trump won. It was worth it just to see all these two faced hypocrites show their true colors. -

"They've become their own worst enemy. I hate how illiberal liberals have become. And now this. "
Unfortunately, it's an old story. Today's oppressed are tomorrow's oppressors. It's like humanity always over-corrects. "I've been mistreated. To protect myself from being mistreated again, I must mistreat those who've mistreated me." And then they f2000eel they must go after anybody who has anything in common with the original bad guy. So then they begin to practice the very thing they once condemned in others, and they become their own worst enemy.
Also, too many people don't really support "women's right" or "equality" or some other virtue. What they support is simply their own ideology, and they associate all virtues with their ideology and all vices with their opponents' ideology. Deeds no longer matter, for some people. What they want is conformity.
