Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Jacki Weaver

    dell_yount — 13 years ago(January 13, 2013 09:10 AM)

The performance by the brilliantly talented Ms. Jacki Weaver,
as the unconditionally loving mother (Delores) in "Silver Linings Playbook,"
is perfectly subtle, simply sublime, and worthy of recognition and award!

She didn't get nominated lol but you can vote for her on behalf of the entire cast.

This was the second time that the Academy surprised with her nod, as she didn't get in (twice)with all the precursor awards (Golden Globes and SAG). Very strange. Must be the power of Weinstein!
