That story took place that beginning of Season 3, with no strike going on, that was the period in which they were desperately seeking an end date, so that they wouldn't be stuck having to make up stuff for 10 years to stretch the series out, they wanted to get to their ending as soon as possible, which they celebrated by killing off nikki and paolo and they continue to make fun of themselves for having that in the show to begin with. The whole reason they were on the show is because ABC the network wanted two hot people to bring in the superficial vain crowd.
She didn't have time to film with them except for that scene, and it was better than nothing, Michael was going to die, and one of the people he took out was waiting for him. That's pretty creepy. Also the writers strike happened which caused them to only air the first 8 episodes of Season 4, as they had only written enough for those episodes, after which they went back to writing and finished up the rest of the season a couple months after.

Well she's appeared on the Season 6 poster and will return in some capacity. Everyone except for Shannon is doing the last season, apparently she was too busy filming some other stuff despite IMDB showing them as being done and the others in post production, perhaps she's not done with those projects.

Hopefully all the people who bagged on her for the rumors of her not coming back, will now congratulate her for returning after all.

Is it true she made a stink about Libby's fate?
This reminds me of when Harold Perrineau played the race card about Michael's fate, saying that the writer's were just doing another story about absentee black fathers and disliking the treatment of black characters in generally, etc etc etc. I was disgusted by the remarks, considering that Michael was brought back at all to show extreme remorse and then redeem himself through self-sacrifice.
But, at the same time, this didn't show
at all
in his performance of season four episodes. So despite the fact that I feel he was immature in post-production, it speaks volumes about his talent as an actor and professionalism that he played his part (damn well!) despite major disagreement and misgivings about what that part had become. -

I'm not sure it was fully her choice to leave in the first place. I read that her character was killed because people didn't like Ana Lucia so when she was killed by Michael no sense of loss was felt. You've really lost all respect for an actress because she was written out of a show? Grow up dude.

Well..
I'm waiting
Where are all the apologies, now that Libby has returned, in a big way, to the last Lost season, and (sort of) reunited with Hurley?
And did anyone catch her on House last night? In a recurring role as Wilson's ex and perhaps future wife?
Yea, for sure, that's a career in tatters.
Not to mention that she's been married to the same lucky guy for 14 years and counting.
Well
I'm waiting..
And, BTW, the phrase is founder, like a ship in trouble, not flounder, like the fish. Look it up.

Actually
FLOUNDERS 3rd person singular present, plural of flounder
Verb:
Struggle or stagger helplessly or clumsily in water or mud: "he was floundering about in the shallow offshore waters".
Noun:
A small flatfish (families Pleuronectidae and Bothidae) that typically occurs in shallow coastal water.
So, the OP used the right word in the right context.

Dude, drop the bitterness.
As with a majority of actors and actresses it's not an easy thing to become a "star" and there's a fine line between trying to get A-listed co-starring roles on a major Network vs doing voice-over or commercial TV Ads.
I don't know what Cynthia's aspirations are as an actress in Hollywood and maybe she's just happy to get the work that she does, but to be so bitter as to wish ill-will on her career because you think she walked-away from a show that could teeter on the brink of cancellation is pretty damn funny, if not pathetic.

Lol, during the first two seasons the show was at the height of its popularity and in no way on the brink of cancellation. By the time the third season ended they'd renewed the show through to season 6 to give the writer's notices to write the ending. It was never cancelled.

So Cynthia (or any other actor) doesn't have the right to say no to returning to a series for whatever reason? It's up to the producers of a show to keep things running smoothly and make sure the actors want to return - and if that doesn't happen any actor has the right to leave. Despite clamoring from internet message board users.
I'm sure she doesn't make her career decisions based on what fullonrobotchubby wants. So sorry.
