If Stefan injected Damon with the cure that he took from himself, then he would age because as a vampire he is over 100.

My thought is first the cure and second option he vervains him to be him who takes Cade down.Maybe the weapon it has to be used by a human & he knows if Damon does it he might die like the white oak sl

Well Stefan vervains Damon every other episode and old habits die hard. I would be shocked if Stefan injected Damon with the cure.
Never argue with stupid people,they will drag you down to their level then beat you with experience.
