Dylan or Dermot vs. Jack and Martin

I can't seem to remember who is who between Jack Warden and Martin Balsam. Exactly like McDermot and Mulroney. Why is that? It boggles my mind. They do tend to appear in similar pictures with similar types of directors, yes. Anyone else have this problem?
