Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Eamonn Walker

    hdale04 — 17 years ago(December 15, 2008 04:20 PM)

though cadillac records focused mostly on muddy waters/little walter/chuck berry and etta james, eamonn walker as howlin' wolf stole the show every time he was on screen. he was absolutely amazing. though all performances in the film were equally stunning, he really stuck out, (maybe it was that crazy-a$$ smile). i'm definately going to be checking out other things he's done, and keep an eye out in the future.

Hell ya he stuck out. I don't think they could have picked a better actor than him. I'm listening to howlin wolf right now and he is still a back door man. His voice was pretty amazing too.

Then you have to check out the six seasons of "Oz". That's what made me his #1 fan!

I wasn't crazy about the film, but I did feel like this guy really nailed Howlin' Wolf. It was like watching documentary footage.

LOVED Eammon Walker as Howlin' Wolf.
Wish he had had much more screen time.
                Bravo, bravo!

I so agree with you, him and Walter(Columbus Scott) stood out in the film. I liked Wolf's swager. I would love to see him do a role as Sidney Poiter. I betcha he would do it well What do you think

Definitely agree. Eamonn Walker played the big burly bad-assed bluesman with an intensity that radiated off the screen. I enjoyed all the performances in this movie, but Mr. Walker flew circles around everyone else.

Is it just me or could he pull off a good act of Otis Redding? I think he could

I came here to post the same thing you said, that he stole the show and that 5b4I wanted to see what else he's done so I can watch for him. What a performance! It was obvious that Beyonce thought she was going for the Oscar since Hudson received one .. NOT. BUT Walker should have at least been nominated for supporting actor. Brody thinks smoking is acting, that was so lame. I kept waiting for him to pick tobacco off his tongue like some other crappy actors do. He's good but in this he was fake.
