I agree that Makenzie is great, however it is hard to get successful in Hollywood as a child now that they've got Dakota Fanning. Underneath Dakota, there is more competition -
Sorry, but that's bull IMO. Just look at Abigail Breslin's success. She garnered an Oscar nom at
ten
something that Da-ho-ta Fanny
never
succeeded in doing. Not to mention the fact that Breslin totally smoked the pants off of
both
Fanny AND Elle on the awards circuit this year!
Point being: If Makenzie keeps getting the
right
roles,& continues to get great reviews, she'll be recognized no matter what Fanny is doing.I wish people would QUIT this comparion-to-Fanning crap. She is
NOT
God's gift to the world. She's just a mediocre blonde-haired clone who got lucky in Hollywoodand lots of press for acting like a precocious "mini-adult". To say that these other talented young actress are underneath her is an insultnot to mention a really
stupid
thing to say.
Just keep doing your thing Makenzie! -

I don't see why her scenes wouldn't be in the TV version she has a fairly important role.
sorry if it seems like I'm replying to your posts you just have the same taste in young hollywood as I do. I love Abigail, Makenzie, etc. -

I agree makenzie was excellent in Saw. She was central to the most intense scene in the film. I wonder why these child actors don't become warped from these intense roles they play.
I've never cleaned a toilet but I have unblocked a couple- which is worse! -

I liked the film "Saw". Perhaps I'm a killjoy but I thought she was FAR too young for her central role in that film. She was 9 years old. Would you let your 9-year-old child be in a horror film, be bound and gagged for most of it, and have a gun pointed at your head? I wouldn't do. I can't help but wonder whether her cries were genuine at times. If you're not legally old enough to work in a shop or an office, you shouldn't be allowed in a horror film. I've said this to several people and nobody seems to agree with me.

Must not have had too much of a negative effect on her. She's gotten osme seriously kick-ass roles since, done an awesome job in all, and ohyeah
gotten a role as a regular on a hit TV show (The Good Wife.
As for your thoughts on her roles. Kids end up in peril on dramatic movies and TV series on a regular basis, Makenzie already had a bit of a resume before Saw and most were dramatic roles that's what she's specialized in and she's done an awesome job with it.
My bet is that in Saw they didn't ACTUALLY snatch her out of bed and tie her up
And a final notewhen no one agrees with you it probably means you're wrong
