I agree he's a total sleazebag, but she had a choice and was an adult. At the time if not him it would have been someone else.
But, glad she accepted Christ and left that lifestyle. Still sad she didn't live longer after cleaning up, but choices have consequences, as Prince found out, too. -

This is just as lame and stupid as some people back in 2010 trying to blame Bobby Brown for "killing" Whitney Houston. Both Vanity and Whitney were ADULT women who had minds of their own. If the men in their lives supplied them with drugsand we don't even know this for surethey still ingested these narcotics of their own volition, and trying to scapegoat their spouses/boyfriends for their drug abuse issues is beyond stupid.

Vanity herself never blamed Nikki 6 or anyone else for what she did. Nikki 6 said in an interview he and Vanity talked on the phone for 5 hours years later about all that happened. She did not blame him. Truth be told, Nikkki 6 said Vanity actually did more coke than any other person he'd ever seen. If someone from Motley Crew is saying this you'd better listen. Those guys did coke like the rest of us do water. I'm a big Vanity fan. I grew up with her. I Idolized her. I wanted to dress like her, do my hair like her and everything back then, but the girl was a total junkie back in the day. She literally blew her kidney up with dope. I thank God she escaped and was able to live another 20 years, but blaming someone else for all she did is not right. She had the looks and connections to be a huge star. She wasn't Beyonc or Halle pretty. She was Lena Horne pretty. That's a big difference. She was so beautiful even straight women wanted to go to bed with her. She could have easily played Lena in a biopic. She blew it. Not only with the drugs, but by calling her father a black gorilla. She obviously had identity issues. And her name was not "Vanity" by accident. The woman WAS vain. In every interview before she became an evangelist she only talked about how beautiful she was and how good she looked naked. She had no substance. And she was always high. I did not understand that when I was 12 years old and worshipping her. But I see it now. I am glad she found Jesus and is with him now, but posts like these are incorrect.
Actors are useless without the power of a good writer's imagination
