I think Liv Ullmann is one of the greatest actresses I've ever seen on screen. We need more like her. I can't think of that many modern actresses who can express as much as this lady could. Charlotte Gainsbourg comes to mind, as well as Helena Bonham-Carter.

Naomi Watts reminds me of Ullman because she seems to be just as gentle and intelligent.

What're you talking about? There are plenty of super talented actresses right now (Meryl Streep, Naomi Watts, Isabelle Huppert, Tilda Swinton).
Um, I don't think Helena Bonham Carter is a great actress, just a good one but she's adequate at best (except for The Wings of the Dove she is spectacular in that one).
