I don't know if she had a twin, but she does have a sister named Jane Susan Turkel who was married with two children whose names are Deborah and Jonathan. But I haven't been able to discover her birth date and determine if she is older, younger or a twin. My impression was that Jane was the youngest sibling and Ann was the oldest.
On her website, it states that her "Best friend and other half, her big brother Robert passed away on September 24, 2001." However, I believe he was born on April 9, 1949, so she was almost 3 years older than him if her accepted DOB of July 16, 1946 is correct. So either she was trying to downplay her age, or like many sisters with younger brothers, she discovered that when they become adults, they really do become big brothers which are very useful to have around.
