When I was little I used to confuse Terry-Thomas with Billy De Wolfe, I think they have a very similiar comedy style with the same "hissy" way of speaking.

Yes. They should have appeared together in a movie in which they play relatives from both sides of the Atlantic. Terry-Thomas would have played his sarcastic English relative and De Wolfe would have played the American always making a mess in front of the English.
