This would be a great film for Jay to remake. He would be a perfect in the title role with his Apache/Navajo heritage, acting ability, and physical presence. Add a great director, strong supporting cast, increased action, and beautiful cinematography of Arizona or New Mexico locations and you have a real winner!

I don't think I have ever seen this movie. I did go to Amazon to check the reviews on it. I am sure Jay would be better for the role than Charles Brosnan; however, according to the reviews the movie was more about the posse than the halfbreed Apache, Chato. Chato also had very little dialogue. Seems they would really have to change it a lot from the original for me to be interested.

I 5b4don't know about that. Hollywood should stop remaking great films and start coming up with new ideas.
The fact that Charles Brosnan as Chato didn't say that much showed that a main character doesn't have to in a film, it was body language, facial expressions and actors like Charles Brosnan were great at that. Something that actors today just don't have at all. It also gave time to show just how evil the bad guys really were.
Also, Charles Brosnan was playing someone who was a half breed, because believe it or not there are people who come from a white skin father and a tan skin mother and there kids will not have light tan skin they can have white skin. I should know, I'm one of them.
