He seems to be your OBSESSION and so many others that come out of the wood work. I mean seriously how does that enhance your life if this is fact or not? Say if your mother is dying from cancer, will she be cured now that you have uncovered the so-called "truth" about this man????? I THINK NOT!!!!

Ah, it's you again. The instigator. You just have to stir up drama whenever the rest of us are having a civilized chat. Shame shame.
I think by now we all know that you worship and adore Jay Tavare. He is awesome, all powerful, the sun, the moon, yadda yadda yadda. No one is questioning your loyalty. I don't think anyone really cares as they're all able to make up their own minds about what they read. Your defensive and ultimately pointless attacks however, are getting old and no one wants to hear them. Might I recommend staking out a claim at Jay's website to join the other members of his cult? Surely, your words would not be wasted there as they are here on this open forum, where people should feel free to speak their minds, no matter what their opinion.

I don't think you get the picture. Yes, Jay was cast as a Spaniard in Streetfighter, but that is by no stretch of the imagination a "mainstream Hollywood A list film." And yes, he was cast as a Middle Eastern terrorist in Executive Decisionfor what, like the first 3 minutes of the movie? I would hardly call that portraying a character. It only means that he looked Middle Eastern enough to get a few minutes of screen time. So what has he accomplished by doing that? If it's just about getting screen time then why hasn't he acted in more (regardless of the genre) for the sake of exposure? By his own admission, he111c has picked every one of his roles carefully and also turned down many as well, so he must have put careful thought into the decision to play even a Middle Eastern terrorist, even for 3 minutes. You say, "but he [Billy] has not done what Jay has". I don't get it. What has Jay done? Been cast as characters of different ethnicities, while being of different ethnicities himself? Alright. And this is important becausewhy? What's the significance of that? Wouldn't it be a bigger deal if an actor of ONE ethnicity was able to play characters of many different ethnic backgrounds? That's what it means to have real acting talent. That's what acting is all aboutbeing able to pretend and convince the audience of your character, regardless of your own personality, physicality or ethnic background.
You come down hard on Unforgiving Wolf, but it appears she has her facts straight, while you're just ranting out of blind devotion. You call her creepy, but you're the one who is constantly professing your admiration for Jay, despite the good sense that some people on here have made by arguing against him. If there was ever a stalker or a love-sick fan, it would be you. You're the creepy one. I did the same search that Wolf and Dreamy did and found out the same information. It's not classified, there's no warrant needed. They're public recordsbirth certificates, marriage licenses, divorce papers. No big secret, no need for the FBI.
Oh, and if you think he's in his "early" 30s then you must be delusional. At best I would say he looks to be in his late 30s, but even that's pushing it. If you look at some of the early photos of him that must have been taken in the 80s, based on what he was wearing, you can see that he looks to be in his 20s. For him to be in his early 30s, let's say 33 years old, that would mean that those 80's photos would have been taken when he was a teenager, which he's clearly not! Even if they were from the LATE 80's, 1988he would have only been 14 years old! The two just don't add up. He's obviously lied about his age. It makes much more sense that he would be over 40 and in his late 40s by this time. There's no disputing it. -

It's a lost cause, ya know? I don't think anyone cares about the posting history of myself of Unforgiving Wolf or anyone else. You're the only one who's continually making a fuss about it. You're the only one who's arguing against us. You are in fact an instigator and our "attacks" are indeed warranted. As it so happens, I wanted to find out what other people thought of Jay Tavare (since I only recently heard of him) so I joined IMDB to do just that. Everyone has to make a first post at some time, right? I had been watching the others post for a while and after having enough of your BS I thought I might as well add my own thoughts to the forum. Weeks, months or years from now I might have something to say about someone else, and then I'll post to their forum. But for right now, I only have issues to debate about Jay. I looked at his own website, but as other posters have mentioned, I just got a weird cultish vibe from it and wanted to explore a less fanatical resource. The fact that my very presence here gets you so worked up is really ridiculous. You come across as a very angry person. You're practically shouting at me in your posts, trying to convince Jay's "real" fans that your word is law and that you are the only one speaking the truth. If anything, it is you and your outrageous behavior that will be responsible for driving away his fans.

You don't give a "dame" huh? For someone who so freely implies that I can't read English, you have a lot of trouble writing it, don't you? And to quote you on the matter of Jay's age, "A persons true age is the age they look, which to me Jay looks in his early 30's". Now how is that any different from what I said that you said. I said that you were delusional to think that he was in his early 30s. I was simply disagreeing with you and supporting my reasons for why I think that you are wrong. YOU go back and read it. Take your own advice. I (as well as anyone else here) can make all the accusations and speculations that I want on this board, and back them up with any facts or arguments that I wish. IMDB is an open forum as we have said time and again. This is not the "I love Jay Tavare" fanlisting and it is certainly not the "Loveandlive is always right!" soapbox. Maybe for you it is, but you're the only one who holds that opinion. Have you noticed that no one is backing you up here, no one is coming to your defense, but people are supporting the ideas and viewpoints of myself, Unforgiving Wolf and Dreamy Eyes.
16d0I'm not bashing Jay by the way, nor am I a "hater", a "troll" or a "bitch". I came to this board to discuss him, for better or for worse. I've encountered some very genuine fans of his, as well as those who have their grievances about him. So far the only one who has been guilty of being a bitch, a troll and a hater is you. You pretend to be so high and mighty and while you don't claim to know Jay or study him, you certainly present yourself as being knowledgable enough to criticize everyone else's knowledge. You said yourself that you can't believe anything on the internet or anything said by anyone else, and that it can only be fact if it comes from Jay himself. So unless you've been talking to Jay (or unless you are Jay, as earlier presumed) then your credibility is just as imperfect and subject to flaws as everyone else's is. And even if you were talking to Jay, who's to say he'd tell you the truth? The interview says that if one paragraph were to describe him, the one word that would sum it up would be "enigma". So Jay likes to be a man of mystery, and what better way to keep that mystery going than to not tell the whole truth about himself. Let's face it, if he were completely upfront about these details then we wouldn't have as much to talk about. He'd be more respected for his honesty, but I'm sure that's of no concern to him.

It's obvious that because you can't win this argument you've resorted to petty name-calling and flimsy accusations. You don't know how old the rest of us are and you have no idea what our lives entail. How can you be any better off considering that you come here just as frequently as we do, post your own speculations and opinions just as we do, and talk about Jay, just as we do. You're the same as we are, so clearly you don't have much of a life either. The only difference is that the rest of us are discussing things as civil adults and you're throwing a tantrum whenever anyone disagrees with you. If you're a true fan and you don't want to be around people who don't support you, then leave! Go to his fan forum on his website. If you're only here to be a clown and to entertain the other Jaybirds, then fine. You're free to stay, but you'll have to develop a tougher skin because your idle threats and criticisms don't scare us and we arent going anywhere.
