I've been watching actor Carl "Alfie" Switzer since I was in elementary school. The first time I saw him was in Our Gang" shows as Alfalfa, which he was good at, second was it's a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed, and the third one was the Roy Rogers Show. He could play both funny and serious roles in his shows, and that's what's best about Carl. I see him as a talented versatile actor.
whenever I watch him on movies and/or TV shows, they cheer me up delightfully. They grew on me gradually as I watched them as I collect DVDs of his movies and TV shows . It's sad on what had happened to him as read on the Wikipedia. I always wonder on what Carl would look like had he have grown older and lived longer life. I dreamed of meeting him from time to time, which was my wish. But he (and his sibling Harold, who along with Carl, was also a child actor)will be missed and his spirit will always be alive in us fans.
In conclusion, I would like to say to Carl thank you for entertaining me and the other fans with your witty talent and sense of humor. You deserved to be recognized more because you are one truly a talented actor and a wonderful human being. May you your spirit and memories will always be alive.
