Why does this Jew hate Israel?

All he talks about is being a Jew and being liberal. How does a "jew" support Obama who does not like Israel and blasts Bush for supporting Israel. He was talking tonight about how enlightened he was to support a mosque at ground zero and the rest of us are "dumb" because we live between LA and New York. He brags about living blocks away from ground zero (911) and he is so enlightened, that the rest of us (excluding our dear leader) are dumb. He calls for the destruction of his ancestors homeland. WHY DO HOLLYWOOD JEWS DEMAND THE DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL? Why dont the people of Jewish faith condem him in Hollywood. We are all Americans. We all came from somewhere. Let us be one and defy these radicals. I hope for a leader that will join us all together. Jon Stewart you weaken this country and support our enemies. You think you are clever. The countries you support would execute you for speaking out. You should be grateful that you live in the USA where you can critize your leaders without reprisal. That is what makes this country great. You have every right to blast this country. It is your right (you make alot of money doing it). How about supporting the USA? How about supporting her allies? A mosque near ground zero is wrong and you know it. It is not a slight against Muslims. It is a trophy for the people that attacked the United States of America.

Get a life! The mosque near ground zero not on it. We have freedom of religon in AMERICA. Not all muslims are bad they are just like everyonther group of HUMANS on this plannet some are nice people take Aasif from the show he seems like a nice guy then there are the bad ones who arenot really Muslim its like how Hilter was a Jew yet killed millions of so by your standards jews must be bad them or christians like I imgaine you are are not all saints ie the cathloc priests who have sex with little boys but won't marry an adult gay couple or except people who are diffrent. All groups religuos, ethnic, and anything els have horrible people like Al quida or Hitler and great people. Cuase it is human nature!

First, show me a clip (from a credible news source) where Obama says he does not support Israel. Not included are examples of sympathy to the situation faced by Palestinians. I want an actual clip where Obama says he does not like Israel. Second, what do you mean by "supporting Israel"? That is a very broad term.

Ummm Again, please watch the show before making stupid comments. First, Stewart didn't use the word enlightened during that skit. Second, he made it clear that there is no Mosque being put in at Ground Zero. There is an Islamic Cultural Learning Center going in about two blocks from Ground Zero and that's what Stewart was talking about. Second, I live between New York and LA and I didn't hear Stewart call me dumb. He might not care for the anti-Muslim rhetoric that is being heard around the country (and in NYC, but you probably missed that part) but he didn't call anyone dumb.

Again, please show me when he has labeled everyone except himself and Obama as dumb. I want exact language, please, and not your interpretation of what Stewart said.

Jon Stewart isn't a Hollywood Jew. Hollywood is located in California. Jon Stewart lives and works out of NYC. They are on opposite coasts.

That is Stewart's point. We are all Americans. Those living in NYC and wishing to build a learning center two blocks from Ground Zero are Americans as well. Stewart's point is that the radicals hate us because we have these freedoms. When we compromise them because we are afraid, we are allowing the terrorists to dictate our society. Now, in times of trouble, is when we need to hold true and fast to our ideals.

Support? You mean the way Stewart supports Saudi Arabia by advocating that America's religious tolerance be above that of the cruel Saudi monarchy?

When has he ever said that he isn't grateful to be an American? Do you make that assumption because he wants America to live up to its ideals and freedoms uncompromisingly? Stewart is a great American and he is a great American because he doesn't let fear rule his life. He wants America to be the best that it can be and sometimes a little constructive criticism is the best way to make improvements.

Well, since there is a Mosque already at Ground Zero should it be torn down? Also, the building going in isn't a Mosque.

You've really surprised me ratbluff. I wasn't aware that any "conservative" was actually watching The Daily Show (?). Since most conservatives don't seem to have much of a sense of humor, you might want to continue channel-surfing

This is where I stopped reading. Clearly the OP doesnt know what the hell he is talking about and another example why I cant take conservatives seriously. So many of them sound way to misinformed and so bias, they cant seem to think straight.

With all due respect,where do you get off assuming that just because Stewart is Jewish that he automatically has to be pro-Israel? In the grassroots community group I've volunteered with for a couple of years now,at least two of the members are straight-up anti-Zionists,and they're both Jewishthey see no contradiction between the two. Also the so-called mosque being built 2 blocks from Ground Zero is not really a mosqueit's actually a community recreation center with a mosque insideBIG difference. Oh,BWT, I read in a recent NY Times article online that there have been at least 2 mosques at least 8 blocks from Ground Zeroone has been in that area since the early '70's, the other since 1985funny how I've rarely heard anything about them in the news.
Honestly, this whole mosque thing has just been used as a political football by the right wing nutsI mean,from what I read, this community center had been in the planning stages for a year, and the people who are building it ARE Americans, and not all of them are Muslim, from what I gathered from another article. FYI, there were American Muslims who died in the 9/11 attacks toothey sure as hell weren't spared from a horrible death BECAUSE they were Muslims,too. And the people building this center didn't have one damn thing to do with 9/11 int he first place, so why dump all of that baggage onto them? Honestly, the people screaming about this so-called mosque need to get the hell over themselves and start raising hell over the fact that we're spending close to a trillion dollars a month on this damn war Iraq, which was totally unncessary in the first place. -

AFAIK the US is still funding Israel and Joe Biden is a big supporter of Israel. Just goes to show that no matter who is President of the USA, they will always be buddies with the Zionist fascist state of Israel.
