Watched the Avengers as a kid in the 60"s don't remember seeing the early episodes. Watching them now on cozy TV
Julie is very cute and fun to watch
Wonder why she wasn't in more shows.

Ha, ha! I didn't see these old shows growing up either and am also watching them now on COZI. Yes, the Venus character is very cute, and I have to say that Julie Stevens is a much better actor than Honor Blackman. Maybe the writers realized there could be only so many occasions when Venus could coincidentally happen to be where Steed was investigating something. And that it made more sense to have a gal who was his partner in anti-crime. For me that partner will always be the one and only Emma Peel. I have all the EP DVD's, and watch several of them each week. Love the tongue-in-cheekness, the awful puns, the whole crazy sensibility.
They've been showing the episodes in the order they were originally broadcast, but have skipped a few. Wonder if it's because those episodes are in bad shape or have been lost. What do you think?
      Meryl Streep is a shape-shifter.
