Why did she leave America's funniest people? It wasn't fun to watch anymore after she left because Dave made so many jokes about her.

If I recall correctly she said that the producer claimed ABC insisted she be fired in order to hire a visible minority to co-host the show with Dave Coulier. Sort of an affirmative action move. However, they chose as her replacement Tawni Kitean. Arleen felt they'd lied to her and sued either the producer or the network or both. Have no idea how it was settled but I always hoped they'd compensated her for this deception.

My question about America's Funniest People is why it isn't listed in her filmography under Self: TV. It waa the first thing I saw her in.
