Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Anna Silk

Theater movies and tv shows have a standard and a regulation different from those of porns. In one episode, Anna scrubbed her breast down a man's chest all naked though her nipples were hidden, and the bodies were partially shielded from a camera. She was in a bath tub together with her boy friend in an episode. In another episode, she was beginning to take a shower with a man in the bath room. The movie rating does not only have to do with a nudity on camera. It's related to body contacts and suggested sexual acts. So the rating of Lost Girl is, to be frank, about half X. Other movies or shows have been more careful about that. To take another as an example, Hbo show Girls is digressing from the principle. There is a sex scene on a bed- about single X or single and half X-, and the actresses are showing their nipples and buns. Allison Williams may be popular, but she and her colleagues need be more careful. Many actresses are doing porns under a pseudonym. Nobody cares. That's a different world. At once it is true that an actress/girl in regular entertainment or art may be involved in underground sex businesses at the same time. People may not want to see X type scenes in the orthodox movie or on orthodox tv or on orthodox video because many of them- esp. men- love their favorite actresses in person even though each of them may not have a chance to see her/them in their lifetime, and they would not want to be voyeurs for no reason, and they may feel that voyeurism or perversity is a stupidity. They would seek for other methods to watch porns or sexual acts if they really want to do so.

Yet you still seem to watch every juicy episode. Come on man, are you serious? "Half X"? X rating means actual sexual penetration and uncensored oral along with a lot of other acts shown to the audience. None of which Lost Girl shows. Also as far as your "Orthodox" label,..all I can say is WTF?
