For anyone interested in Jean Seberg, there are three books that are essential reading. They are:
"Played Out: The Jean Seberg Story" by David Richards. New York: Random House, 1981. Includes photographs. Try abebooks.com to secure a copy of this book, now out of print.
"Jean SebergBreathless" by Garry McGee. Albany, Georgia: BearManor Media, 2008. Includes many photographs
"Neutralized: The FBI vs. Jean Seberg, A Story of the '60s Civil Rights Movement" by Jean Russell Larson and Garry McGee. Albany, Georgia: BearManor Media, 2008. Contains many documents from Jean's FBI file as well as many photographs.
There is so much misinformation on this site about her life that one should turn to these book for accurate, well-researched, documented information.
