Does anyone know whatever happened to her son with Romain Gary? He evidently lost both parents to suicide while he was still in his teens. Oh my God, what a tragedy! I hope he has managed to have a normal life. I remember seeing a picture of him when he was about 15 or 16 and he looked really handsome. I've never heard or seen anything about him.

According to a Jean Seberg fansite, Diego lives a quiet life in Paris. The site has supposedly asked him if he would like to use the site as a forum but he declined. So they say.

I lived in Marshalltown, Iowa, for a while (Jean's hometown). I believe there is a grave in the cemetery for her stillborn child.
