In "That Thing You Do!" it really looks like he pla5b4ys the drums. does anyone know if he does or maybe he learned for the movie? thanks.

He probably does and sometimes they have trainers so actors look perfect roleplaying it.

All the members of the movie had to learn to play their respective instruments for the movie.

I had such a crush on him in this movie.. lol (He's too cute)
I'm glad he was chosen to play the drummer. I agree he's very good at it too! Very impressive.
The drums has always been one of my favorite instruments. Love how Tom plays it so well.

I was looking at behind the scenes where they mention that they all took lessons before doing the movie, they were taught to play the songs, none of them had really played an instrument before the movie but they managed to learn the songs and are playing for real in the movie even though theyre miming it

I wonder if he still plays or has the drums he playedin the movie. I like "That Thing You Do!" a lot.
