His name is actually pronounced Doogray, I have heard him saying so himself on TV. It is in fact his middle name and was his French grandmother's maiden name. He is actually Stephen Dougray Scott but when joining the actors union Equity he had to choose another working name as there was already a Stephen Scott registered with them.
