On the first episode and I think a few more Mr. Sartain played the character of CD then out of no where he was replaced.

On the first episode and I think a few more Mr. Sartain played the character of CD then out of no where he was replaced. I would like to know why he did not stay on as CD. Does anyone know why?

That happens a lot.
He played cd in the pilot episode, which is done for the network so they could decide whether or not they'll start producing a series.
Pilot episodes are a lot different than the final series, network executives might change some actors and cut off some characters or add new ones.
